Hornets vs Timberwolves

The hive was alive Friday night as the Charlotte Hornets demolished the Minnesota timberwolves 133 – 115.

While the headline coming into this game was rookie of the year LaMelo Ball vs runner-up Anthony Edwards, Hornets forward Kelly Oubre stole the show. Oubre dropped 27 points and tied a career high with 7 threes. All five of our starters were in double figures and the lowest scorer out of the five, LaMelo Ball, had 13 assists. The Hornets team as a whole outshot and outplayed a red hot Timberwolves team that had won 6 straight.

I went to the game with my 23 year old cousin who had never been to an NBA game before, and he loved it. The energy was great and fans (including us) even started doing the wave.

The Hornets will go on a short 3 game trip starting with the Houston Rockets tomorrow night.
