Jazz survive another Hornets comeback effort. Hornets vs Jazz
Hornets vs Jazz
Once again this was a tough game to watch. Tonight’s game was like deja-vu as the Hornets let the third-best team in the NBA take whatever shot they wanted, leading them to a 19 point deficit at the end of the first half.
The Hornets did keep the Jazz in check for the next two quarters and decreaded the lead to a more manageable 12 points at the end of 3rd.
The Hornets came out firing in the 4th! Led by scary Terry Rozier, the Hornets took the lead 92-91 with 3 minutes to go, but the Jazz followed with their own run to take the lead back and win the game.
Jalen McDaniels was my player of the game tonight because of the grit and fight he displayed. Aside from being our most consistent player (he had 15 points while only missing two shots), Jalen played great on-ball defense as well as fought for many loose balls.
It was pretty awesome to see the fight that all the Hornets players showed to erase a 22 point lead, but if we want to win games against these tough opponents we have to get off to better starts.
