Hornets vs. Celtics.

The Hornets took their first loss of the season on Monday night falling to the Celtics 140 – 129 in overtime. This game was one of the most entertaining Hornets games I’ve seen in a long time. I sat with two of my friends (Boston fans) and the back and forth was extremely entertaining for us all.

Everything looked great for the Hornets as they were up 117-108 with 4:30 to go. Then the Celtics went crazy, no one could stop Celtics star Jayson Tatum. He finished with 41 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. The Celtics eventually ended up tying the game 122-122 and the Hornets had another chance to win with 4 seconds left, but we turned the ball over and went into overtime. Overtime was over from the start for the Hornets. The Celtics pretty much secured the win when Jaylen Brown dunked on Hornets star Miles Bridges.

My player of the game tonight was Jalen McDaniels who came off the bench and provided a much-needed spark in the second half. He finished with 13 points on 4 of 6 shooting.

Overall it was a very fun game to watch and the Hornets played great even without guard Terry Rozier and forward PJ Washington. Hopefully, the Hornets can get back on a winning streak on Wednesday when we play the Magic in Orlando.
