Hornets vs Pacers.

The Hornets got revenge against the Pacers after they completed a marvelous comeback sealed with two clutch free throws and a great defensive play, both by PJ Washington. The comeback began when the Hornets went on a 28-2 run in the third quarter led by our second-year guard, Lamelo Ball.

The energy in the stands was crazy as 15,000 fans watched our young team stay in the game. The entire fourth quarter Spectrum Center yelled “DEFENSE, DEFENSE” when the Pacers had the ball and roared with every single Hornets basket.

My player of the game is LaMelo Ball, who finished the night with 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. He really jump-started our third-quarter comeback, knocking down three’s and garnering “MVP” chants from the stands as he took to the free-throw line. His parents and older brother, LiAngelo, were also in attendance.

This win was a great way to start the season and hopefully it carries into Friday’s game against the Cavs.
