A young Hornets team without the presence of our All-Star caliber guards, LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier, traveled to Atlanta and stung Trae Young and a very good Hawks squad.

The Hornets who found themselves trailing by 13 in the first quarter decided that was enough. Led by Kelly Oubre who finished with 24 points the Hornets ouiitscored their opponent by 30 for the rest of the game, and cruised to a 17 point victory. Nick Richards continues to impress. He had another great game scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 20 minutes. Dennis Smith looks very solid as well as he had his best game of the season with 18 points and 6 assists.

Steve Clifford has came in and really started to teach these guys winning habits. Our activity sand relentlessness on defense is looking like some of the best in the league. We saw that defense translate to offense mainly in the third quarter when the Hornets came out of the break and scored 45!
