Hornets vs Rockets

Going into the night without key players Miles Bridges and PJ Washington and the fact that we lost to this team earlier in November I was actually kind of worried until I heard that the Rockets would also be without a list of key players including Kevin Porter Jr., Jalen Green and Je’Sean Tate. I then knew that the Hornets star-power would surely overtake the Rockets.

I was right, because the Hornets had this game from the start. Despite the score being within a couple of points early in the second quarter, we were really setting the pace, our bench was excited and I knew without a doubt that we would win. Just as predicted the Hornets star-power overtook the Rockets and we quietly and quickly began to pull away.

Mr. Monday night, Terry Rozier, led the Hornets with 27 points and 7 threes. LaMelo Ball had 16, 7 and 5, and Kelly Oubre dropped 18 off the bench. Our starting center Mason Plumlee (who I hate on a lot) had a season high 15 points on 7-7 shooting, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. He certainly earned my player of the game vote and I’m sure if he played like this every night we would be a real threat to make a deep run in the playoffs. Meeting the Pacers next.
