Demolishing the record books. Hornets vs Pacers
Hornets vs Pacers
This game was quite literally one for the record books. Aside from being the best offensive performance in Hornets franchise history, it was also one of the best offensive performances I have ever seen.
I was a little worried at the end of the first half because the Hornets gave up 70 points to a depleted Pacers team, but that concern quickly disappeared when the Hornets scored 42 points in the third quarter alone. In the end, that third quarter carried into a very strong fourth quarter, and the Hornets destroyed the Pacers 158 – 126!
Tonight marked Hornets records for most points in a game (158), points in a half (87), points through three quarters (113), most threes in a game (24), and Kelly Oubre set records for points (39) and threes (10) off the bench.
You can definitely say that this game made up for the last two and it was great seeing the Hornets back to playing Hornets basketball.
