Hornets vs Knicks

The Knicks just strolled into uptown after getting dropped by Trae Young the night before and completely destroyed us. Despite having their best player out they still shot the lights out at Spectrum Center.

It seems as if every time we meet a mediocre team, especially at home, they play their A-game. Obi Toppin, Miles McBride and countless other Knicks players who regularly shoot 20 something % from behind the arc came here and were hitting threes like crazy.

The Hornets simply had no answer for the Knicks defensively, and offensively LaMelo Ball was the only one who seemed to actually be trying. We had no production from the bench and the only reason the final score wasn’t as bad as it could have been is that we were scoring off second-chance opportunities.

This game was terrible. At least the Hawks and Nets lost too, so we’re still a game ahead of the Hawks and just a game behind the Nets for 8th.
