Hornets vs Trail Blazers

On Halloween night the Trail Blazers came to town for a ghoulish match against Scary Terry Rozier and the Charlotte Hornets. I was fortunate enough to sit courtside with two of my closest friends and Grammy award-winning artist DaBaby was also in attendance supporting his hometown team.

The Hornets were on fire the whole night. We shot 51% from the field and 47% from deep. Keeping Portland superstar Damian Lillard on lock was definitely something Coach Borrego stressed in team meetings this week and we did just that, holding him to 14 points total and just 2 of 14 three-pointers. Our defense really stepped up, especially Kelly Oubre and LaMelo Ball.

My player of the game was PJ Washington Jr. He played significant minutes in the second half and helped the Hornets seal the deal with his tenacious defense and consistent scoring. He finished with two blocks and 17 points, including 8 of 8 field goal shooting.

The Hornets got the W 125 -113, in a haunting victory as we look to tomorrow night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
