Hornets vs Suns

Well friends, this one was ugly. The Hornets got absolutely cooked from the start. The Suns played amazing fast break defense which took away our biggest weapon offensively forcing us to play un-organized and uncoordinated.

Once again the Hornets defense was horrendous. The Suns started fast, scoring 37 and holding us to 15 in the first twelve minutes, and they never looked back, outscoring the Hornets in every quarter.

My player of the game tonight was Miles Bridges. MB was our only, and I mean only, bright spot in this game. Miles seems to have gotten back his scoring prowess after taking a little bit of a hit without his point guard on the court.

Overall my biggest takeaway from this game is that the Hornets need to focus on playing better defense before they worry about offense, and they need to start fast and not dig themselves in a hole from the start.

Forward

I’ve been a fan of Miles Bridges since his days at Michigan. I remember reading about his decision to stay at school and thinking about how hard that must have been for him. So glad it all worked out and he ended up on my home team.
